Thoughts and Prayers

So today I get a call from a few friends giving me the tragic new of one of my very good friends passing away. I have grown up with him and been very close since the 7th grade. He was on his LDS mission in Brazil and got into a car accident in which he didn't make it. He was only 20 years old. Today has been extremely hard on everyone and it's kind of hard to even believe it happened it just seems surreal. His parents are in the process of getting to Brazil right now so everyone please have them in your thoughts and prayers, it will be needed. Thanks

Very sad indeed. Having lost a 6 year old daughter, struck and killed by a car, I know the pain his folks are in right now.

Thanks a bunch guys. Should be a pretty difficult week especially with the funeral being at the end of the week most likely. I guess it's best to remember how great of a guy he was and the good things you remember rather than stay down about the whole situation. Just a shame someone that kind generous had to die so early. He will be missed.

I lost a friend who was doing his missionary work in Mexico in 1987 when hit by another driver head on. He was driving the car and all four other passengers passed as well. They ranged in age from 17 to 20. The driver of the other vehicle walked away. I think of my friend often and this reminded me again of the tragic things that happen to really, really good people. God must want them home early for a reason.

Oh man! So very sorry! My prayers go out to you and the family. It's always tragic when a young life ends. Been there bro.
