Time for a rule change..?

@Rod Rod, as you know I know less than nothing about hosting a website. Is it possible to set triggers? Such as:

1. Posts will not be published until an intro is done?
2. Buy, sell, trade forum is not open until xx posts or xx months?

Or is it more work than it's worth?

IMHO, sharp eyes and an attentive membership is the best answer. As I said, I've seen cases where one or two word posts were used to get the count up. But, having clear rules posted is the key to making it all work.

I agree with this. Setting it so an unseasoned member cannot even go into But,Sell,Trade forum would eliminate a lot of BS everyone has to deal with in the first place. Plus is someone is just here for that, they will go away after they get here.
