I had been toying with the idea of a cigar review site for a while, and when the offer came up for StogieNotes a while back, I posted that I was kinda sorta interested in it. Although that didn't pan out, I was PM'd by Luke (W00tsite) that he would be more than happy to help me out with getting a site up and running. So, after a few months, the site is finally officially up and running! I named it Tobacco Tales as I like to at times tell a tale with reviews that I do. I've got to give Luke most of the credit for where it is right now and can't thank him enough for the work he's put into it So, without further ado...

Of course, it's definitely a work in progress and still a lot of kinks to work out. As mentioned to Rod, I plan to continue posting all reviews on CP as well and like to think of the site as an extension of what I do here. Have a look and please let me know if anyone has suggestions, comments, or questions.

Excellent! Good to see the site is up and running bud, I doubt I'm alone when I say I've been waiting for you to finally have one!
 
Congrats on the site! It looks great. I do have a few suggestions though. I think the pictures need to be able to be clicked, especially on the pages that have tiny images. I know personally that I love your images, and to shrink them and not be able to click them makes me sad. Also, I'd like to see more than one review per page. I know this is a personal thing, but I think it would look better as a "blog" style site. Looks great though!

I agree on the image thing. I'd have it just like your CP reviews, where the images are at the bottom of the review, and simply auto scale to the right size. It's doable, obviously Wootsie has the talent to make it work. Nicely done to him, also, for the really nice layout.

It actually does that, you have to click on the review title to see the full review though, which is basically the same as they are here, just missing the second subject line for the size. Luke did have it where there were numerous reviews on the front page, however I asked if he would only put one up there as I didn't like a looooong front page. I thought having one review, like a review of the day on the front page would be good. Maybe make it the last three reviews instead of just one, that would be cool.
