Sampling very fresh Opus before my meager new selection goes into long term storage....tried a new No5 just out of curiosity since it's definitely my favorite Opus. You know what? A fresh No5 is strong as HELL. Not unpleasant at all, but demanded respect.

Nice Bolivar Royal Corona while grilling some wings yesterday evening. Great sticks. Very consistent.

Trying an 07 Monte #4. Pretty disappointed in this box. From what I hear, they're pretty hit and miss. These sticks have all been plugged and/or bitter entering the last third. Live and learn!
