How was it?

I haven’t had a cigar in about a month or so. Figured I’d get back into it and go big with a 2005 Reynaldo Cuban Custom by Reynaldo, sent to me by Nino Munoz as a thank you not long before he passed away this year. It felt really soft and spongy pre-light, so I was surprised when it performed so well. If a Partagas and a Cohiba were to have a baby, this is what I imagine it would taste like.

It's worth trying. The decorative ensemble probably reaches out better than the actual blend of the cigar... but it wasn't a tosser that's for sure.

Room 101 13th Anniversary thanks to @CgarDan and PIF. My usual routine, wake up, grab coffee and this time that band with 13 just came into focus. Dang this was good, hit all my high points. Great burn, great notes. Full bodied, retrohale was spicy but nice. Went up and ordered a 5 pack. That good to this old dog.
