Today's Smoke 2025

This is, perhaps, the most interesting cigar I’ve had. Before coming here I had maybe a dozen cigars in my collection, which I or my friends liked. Now I must have close to 50 different cigars, this place has really opened up a whole new world for me.

I’m not good at describing tastes, but on the smell of the unlit cigar and the cold draw I tasted something familiar, sweet iced tea maybe? This cigar is sweeter than most. I borrow from other reviewers and I totally get the hay, caramel, orange peel, tea, and white pepper thing others describe. The reviewers who list 8 different vegetables, meats, kumquat, and Meemaw’s homemade gumbo just confuse me. And, frankly, I think some of them are full of 💩.

But this was fascinating to me, very different and very good! Slightly open but good draw, perfect construction and burn on this stick. I burned my fingers it was so good. Corona size, Connecticut wrapper, medium strength. Will def revisit this stick.

Charter Oak Pegnatoro, 5.5x48. About an hour smoke.

I suppose I should learn to not do this upside down. 🤪

‘01 SLR Churchills Cab - why do I smoke fresh cigars? More often than not I’m disappointed. When I smoke aged stuff almost always fantastic. This dwindling cab I’ve been savoring for twenty some odd years has delivered every single time. Wonderful first puff to last. Near two hours of bliss. Thank you Habanos for cutting damn near every cigar from one of my favorite marcas. These along with the DC, Lonsdales, Coronas & PC were among my favorites for years. Only about a dozen left from my last cab. Hindsight is a f&^%#$fg bitch.
