After reading @MrPerfecto's post on some Connecticut cigars... I got a hankerin'.
The first one I spied with my searching eye was ...
Perdomo Champagne 10th Anniversary. I agree this isn't in my top choices. But it's not horrible by any means.
Had to go back to the lounge today. Too humid and hot . Enjoying a Nelson Alfonso Anejo today. cedar, lemongrass, hints of peanut butter. Freakin delicious cigar. Once again the price sucks, but flavors are sooo good.
First smoke of the day with my first cup of coffee of the day. Incoherent grumblings of good morning to you all!
Edit: Oh yeah. Arturo Fuentes Gran Reserva candela in their Spanish lonsdale format. I've been curious about these little green guys since I saw that disheveled detective in his rumpled coat.
‘00 Montecristo Robustos EL - another of the inaugural Edición Limitadas, the first "maduro" cigars from Habanos. Smoked a few of these and wasn’t inspired to buy a box as the RyJ & especially Partagas blew me away where these were just very nice smokes. Wish I would have bought at least one box now as these just get better and better. Toasted coconut, dark roast coffee & velvety dark chocolate. The wrappers on these burn so wonky some called them fireproof back in the day and this one was rough. Had to touch it up a few times. The only thing that kept this stick from a perfect score. Still a dream smoke and glad I have a few singles left.
