It's been a long 5 days, but I'm a Daddy! Hopefully being discharged tomorrow, but since I had to run home to check on things and play with the cats, might as well have a snack!! Guardian of the farm nightwatch Maduro, with a pour from a bottle I hauled back from Dublin.

I do love Salomones but have never smoked a Partagas until now. Tried the V-Cut as I cut pretty much every cigar this way since I became enamored with it, but the draw was no bueno so I pulled out my guillotine and made a dick cut which resulted in a near perfect draw. Started off beautifully with none of the bitterness of youth I’ve come to expect from any Havana cigar less than a few years old. Dense medium bodied smoke almost chewy thick with chocolate covered cherries and cream flavors. An absolute stunner. This one is in the rotation now!

German Engineered Cigars RVGN. Beautiful lancero. Almond, little graphite taste. Very well constructed cigar. Definitely picking up a box.
