It's kind of crazy the prices they ask for these. The band just fell off as soon as I touched it, and that cap is hanging on for dear life. Perfectly adequate cigar, though, and worth what I paid on CBid. Not any more than that, though.

Decided it was time to crack the OR Tat Black Jar that I acquired from Anthony aka Tony-NY. I believe I picked it up in 2015 or so. Pete signed it in 2019 at a local event. No special occasion just happy for my family and friends!

EP Carrillo Essence Maduro. Man I really liked this one. Perfectly rich blend of spice, earth, cedar and cocoa and so smooth. Punches above its weight for a budget cigar. Great way to start the day.

RP Sungrown Toro. Pleasantly surprised - unusual sweet pre-light draw. Nice blend of leather, earth, spice and a persistent nutty sweetness throughout. The only downside was a bulging stem right at the cap.

‘19 Trinidad Casildes 7 1/4 X 53 (book cigar) - Gorgeous cigars. I spent about 8-10 mins just admiring the clean lines and perfection of the wrapper and roll. Tiramisu, Mocha, Chocolate Chip Cookie. Passive aromas hot fudge. Retro brings espresso.
Can’t ask for much more than this yet I suspect if I can keep my grubby mitts off them for another few years they will rock my world.
Two hours of reverie.
