Today's Smoke 2026

‘04 PLPC (el dentes selection) Marshmallow notes on cold draw bodes well. Caramel right from the jump. Loads of it. Also some sugar cookie & molasses. A hint of baklava on retro. Dream PC. Interesting note on construction - burn and draw near perfect yet it won’t hold ash for shit. I mean not even a quarter inch. Bizarre. 1:15

Nub Serie V Never seen a cigar hold it’s ash so well while simultaneously burning so unevenly and the wrapper deteriorating after band removal. I think I just got a bad one. I’ll give them time to rest.

Gave up and went with the RP Decade - Oily Sumatra with aromatic dry draw. Nutty with notes of black cherry and more aromatics on retrohale. Smooth, rich and creamy.

Only my second ever candela, the first being a LFD last St. Paddy's.

This one is much milder, but not bad, and I'm actually enjoying the change from what I typically smoke. But I think once or maybe twice a year is probably enough.

ETA: I got pretty bored with it about 2/3 of the way through and found it a bit of a chore to finish. I think I tossed it with about 1.5" left.
