The idea is to be home more, not less. I want out of trucking altogether.

Dont know if a career change is a possibility but there is a shortage of aviation mechanics.

Our son plans to attend a school in a year or two. 18 months or training. One regional airline will pay tuition and tools if he will agree to work for them for 2 years out of school. And its not just airlines. They have people working for NASA Space X etc etc. I was talking w a guy in the biz in a lounge a couple months ago and he said the best gig is w UPS. Those guys pull in $200k/yr.
