Today's Smoke 2026

I enjoy most everything from warped that I've tried, some more, some less, but don't think I've had any that I flat out didn't like.

Technically it's under a different brand, but the Gellis Absolutos in particular I thought were fantastic.
True - Futuro is a “collab” as my kids would say. (Kyle Gellis & Max Fernandez)

Foundation Charter Oak Connecticut Shade

I don’t consider myself a Connecticut Shade guy, but I’m always open to trying new blends. This one came in as part of a very generous trade.

The smoke was light and creamy, with a touch of spice, some hay, and a prominent wood/cedar note right up front. What stood out most was how clean and intentional the flavors felt. I didn’t find myself chasing notes; they were just there, clearly presented.

That made it easy to settle in, relax, and see how the cigar developed over time. This one turned into a bit of an “aha moment” for me, especially realizing how much my prep and smoking cadence influence the experience.

Warped Futuro (Suprema)
Wow! Strong vanilla start, french toast, mild spice and cinnamon. Toffee, capuccino, baking spice with hint of red pepper. Pleasant cinnamon and red pepper retro. Last third nicotine kick on an empty stomach sent me grabbing a breakfast bar and pecan cluster. Great breakfast or anytime smoke. Fantastic. I’ve only had this and the Cloud Hopper but clearly need to try more of the Warped line.

That’s a great-looking Labrador. Is it an American Lab? It reminds me of my dog, Arrow, he’s an American Black Lab.
