Padron '64 Anniversary and following the current footsteps of @cabaiguan juan in Today's Smoke. Got up n out later this am (0830) and began with 81° with a high predicted of 96°. Going to be a lovely weekend here with no rain in site. For those of you who joined the Special Request ( weather ) a big Thank You. Great response.

Really like these - great blend of spicy and sweet. That’s all I’ve got - fried after a couple long work weeks…all year really - first half year is over today. Today was a special day - drove from Allen, TX to White Settlement, TX for my buddy’s dad’s funeral. Our wives meet up for lunch occasionally but i hadn’t seen him in a couple years. He didn’t know we were coming and when I hugged him he wouldn’t let me go. Also saw several other friends from Baylor and some other friends from his neighborhood. Very fulfilling day that I almost allowed work to get in the way of. So glad I didn’t. Must remember - work to live, don’t live to work. We honored a good man today and that feels really good. Beats anything on a P&L.

A buddy picked up a box of The Creature at a spot in St Louis while on a trip with a couple of other friends... he shared on with me last night. Rich and meaty ROTT - has more character and depth than a lot of the previous imho.
