EPC Cuba Aliados Churchill
I’ve been wanting to try this but it was still really firm after two months so I dry-boxed it a week, tooled it and gave it two more days. Still too tight. Gave up halfway. Got bread, earth, leather, nuttiness and cinnamon along with bitterness before tossing it.

Pigtail, closed foot. Wood and mild spice with hint of sweetness. Very mild with light smoke output for a 60 ring - you could inhale it if you wanted to. Creamy cedar, caramel, nutmeg, light spice and vanilla. Stronger finish. Well constructed, mild/medium breakfast smoke with coffee. 1:45

When I would visit my grandmother as a child, she had a cedar-lined desk that always had a toy waiting for me. I can still remember the smell and nothing replicates it- not a humidor, cedar chest or cedar-lined closet. Never have found anything like it. The pre-light draw of this cigar comes really close. There’s cedar, dried fruit and some aromatics I can’t place. Lighting it up I get wood, cedar and light spice. Cream and citrus follow with leather, honey and vanilla close behind. A mild, smooth, well-constructed cigar. Citrus and spice coat the mouth and lips. The dried fruit and aromatics come next leaving a longing for a place and time I can’t go back to. A very nice smoke on a very hot day.
