Today's Smoke 2026

The Pipe from Cigar Luxury. While it may offend the purest cigar smoker, it is really a good stick. In this case the bowl smoked down perfectly and the there was no issue with the conversion from pipe to cigar. It is medium, with some spice and a bit of body that announces itself. Should I mention this is all @dawgie's fault?

So do you have to let it go out and cut the bowl.off and relight or will it burn around and turn into a "regular" cigar?

Ceraunophile is my big word for the day. Enjoying a Jamie Garcia Sucesor courtesy of @modo22 in a storm with some rum from StilL 630 Expedition 6 year old here in St. Louis. Interesting note is the capital L in StilL includes Illinois and the 630 represents many area codes in St. Louis as well as the height and width of the Arch.

I have been meaning to try these... Your thoughts?
It's definitely a Connecticut Shade wrapper, so mild with more creamy notes etc. it wasn't bad for the price. I have had better but those were mostly in a higher price range. I had a coffee with me and it was early, both rare for me, so I thought I'd give it a shot since I hadn't tried one. Don't regret it, just not my usual preference (ct shade). It did go well with the iced coffee.

Artesano del Tobacco El Pulpo Toro Grande
Rich dark earth, cocoa, mild black pepper and espresso. Very smooth with no bite - surprisingly mild first third. Second is dried fruit, hint of dark chocolate with strengthening white pepper retro. Thick smoke with light flaky ash. Final third is strong dark chocolate, faint cinnamon and cloves, and earth. Finished at medium body and strength. Prototypical AJ blend. I guess I’m getting used to the heat at this point - didn’t break a sweat with three fans going and 108 degrees. Come on fall…
