Well I tried but I couldn't wait to try one of these Bond Roberts 109 from the monthly lotto. At about an inch in, it's pretty darn great! Going from memory I want to say it reminds me of the N6 Canonazo, just more so. Strong flavor, medium body. Toast, cedar, baking spice, with a pillowy/creamy mouthfeel to the smoke. Very, very nice.

F5 Puro Desnudo N7 Ninfa with black coffee.
Bread, hay, light spice and floral notes. Very mild. Raisin sweetness, baking spices and cream. Dark fruit, nutmeg, anise and faint orange zest. Medium. Great start to the day.

‘10 ERDM Elegantes ER Suiza - my one and only from a great friend 15 years ago. Kind of an ugly stick but…Sublime start - medium lite strength - amd just got better all the way to the end - retro Maple Pancakes - Coffee, Cinnamon Raisin Toast - incredible gobs of smoke. 1:40.

Yeah, I know, this is like posting a wine cooler review to a wine forum. Out to get my wife smokes (cigarettes) and the little smoke shop has actually developed a decent humidor selection. Bought this one and it's honestly a good smoke. Draw and burn are on point. Not so heavily flavored as to be repulsive, but the flavors are there. I probably smoke 1 or 2 of these a year. A trusted cigar retailer buddy told me the DE sticks are huge sellers, and draw folks into great cigars. Ill say this...try one. Occasionally. If you think it completely sucks, don't repeat the experiment. But...for me, it's a very occasional try. And, I actually kinda like it when I have one. Now and then. It's a full stop change up from my regular sticks, once or twice a year...it's pretty good. One man's opinion....
