Trust me, not going to step on anyone's toes, but did anyone pick up a copy of the latest Time Magazine, with Ann Coulter on the cover? On Page 23, there is an article about Tom DeLay, and in the picture he is smoking a good looking cigar. Thing is, it really looks like a Cuban. Here is a link to the article, and you can see the cigar, but not very well.

I have the magazine, and I can tell it is a Hoyo de Monterrey, with the white band, like the Cuban version. It MIGHT be a Seleccion Royale that they had a few years ago, that was a box-pressed, really good cigar, but I really doubt it.

There is no mention of the cigar in the article, or in the caption or anywhere for that matter, but it is very ironic that in an article about how much trouble he is in that he is consuming an illegal product....

...really just happy knowing that yet another influential politician is on our side...

Actually up until a few months ago it was perfectly legal for him to bring $100 of cuban cigars into the country.

Pretty much all politicians are douches though, but I guess there can be a head douche...oops almost broke the lobby rule there.. better be quite.

There are so many ethics violations on capital hill, however, this is just the one the media decides to put the spotlight on because he is the house majority leader ( and a republican). Also with his wife and daughter recieving money while working on his campaign is common practice by both parties.
