Puff Puff Pass v2.0 2004
Anyone here interested in trading original DVD movies?
That's not a proper analogy. If you have a Cuban cigar, even illegally, someone paid for it at some point. You can't make endless copies of it to give to your buddies, essentially stealing it hundreds of times over.Toaster said:ok.. I guess we can stick to trading the "legal" cuban cigars we all have.
Exactly what I was thinking....You can't justify it, because in the end they are both illegal.Toaster said:ok.. I guess we can stick to trading the "legal" cuban cigars we all have.
Yes, they are both illegal -- but so is speeding. There are degrees of violation of the law, and degrees of harm it causes. As someone who works in an industry where piracy is a huge problem, I can tell you first-hand that piracy causes a great deal of harm.cvmfour said:Exactly what I was thinking....You can't justify it, because in the end they are both illegal.Toaster said:ok.. Trading a Cuban cigar, which is illegal, does not.

Moki has made a valid point. Any discussions about copying and trading copyrighted movies should be conducted off the public forum. Please use PM or emails.moki said:This is illegal, FYI
