EEESH TROPICAL STORM WARNINGS FOR DADE- MIAMI AREA-
WAS WONDERING IF HOW ANY FELLOW MIAMIANS ARE DEALNG WITH THE WEATHER-*** EESH I HAVE TO HEAD TO WORK***:( FREAKING SPT/NXTL!

Well, I'm in Coral Springs, about 20 miles inland from where it is supposed to hit so this should be fun...time to fire up the generator...

I am in between the intracoastal and collins in No. MIA BCH-
Fun aint the word :(

19th floor- big glass doors-
remembers a scene from a movie with a flying cow-

Last year insteadd of staying on Miami Bch I went to WPB- what a duffus!
...this year I plan to stay with my fort!

Gulf coast here, looks like we'll get the tail end of the storm before she hits the gulf and maybe strenghtens into a hurricane.

Waiting for tonight Emo's Grrl. I'm in Hialeah. School was cancelled but all teachers and staff still had to report to get the school ready. Shutting down servers, putting the drives in waterproof safes, you know, same stuff we do every storm.

I just hope I don't have to do this as many times as last year.

Good luck!

Best of luck to all of our Florida members. Stay safe and keep us posted. And remember, cigars can't swim. ;)

And sometime at the first of the week it will be at my door :0

Just as long as it stays under a Cat 2 I'll be fine... knock on wood

Remember folks - rain water might be a gift from the skies, but it still doesn't mix well with your humidifiers!

(spelling edit... you'd think the guy with the links to the spell checkers in his sig would actually use them...)

Be gentle -
HE left at the begining of AUG-

The manufacturer of our equipment is down there, said it's worst he's ever been hit since he move there over 15 years ago - 1.2 million without power as of this morning.

My brother is down in Miami working the MTV VMA's, gotta call him later - he must be so happy (he was stranded in Manhattan during both 9-11 and the blackout when he worked at MTV)

Worst hes ever seen in fifteen years! Wow compared to Hurricane Andrew I would say Katrina was a kitten. Even then any hurricane is never fun to go through.
