Wow. :0 All I can say is after all the public tar and feathering that was done to gawntrail for doing essentially the same thing this is quite surprising. I guess it's true that you can't throw stones and live in a glass house.

Also, just to make it clear...this is not flaming. This is called keeping someone honest. All you new guys should look at this kind of stuff and remember this is not the way to conduct yourselves on the boards. It will follow you where ever you go!

Think about it, how easy would it be just to go to the local shop and pick up 8 cigars and send them out? That's all that needs to happen. It's simple, yet....it keeps dragging out and these guys get more and more excuses.

I hope Rod will leave this open so that this is a reminder to not live outside of your means!

I don't know the others MMM is referring to, but I won the Lotto there in April and Leebo told me he sent the package. After not receiving it, he tells me some story about it sliding under his car seat and he'll get it out as soon as possible. All I get is excuses when he answers my PMs.


You'd have to ask Kirk about the others.

I don't see how this could be a joke. Why would someone want to tarnish their good name? News like this spreads across the cigar forums like wild fire. I don't think Lee would be so ignorant to be involved in such a joke.

I seem to remember some FOGs organizing a joke on a pass leader by pretending the pass was stolen by one of them. Lots of name calling, flame throwing, etc. In the end, they fessed up and everything thing was dandy.

My point of it being a joke was how ironic it would be for Leebo to do that considering how he instigated the gawntrail lynching. If it's not a joke...oh how the mighty have fallen. Wasn't it just a few months ago someone started a thread to make him the "Leader" of CP? Just read his profile here. He would be the last person I would think would welch on a Cigar Lotto, considering his past posts and profile.

Uh, fine. If it's not a joke, it's not a joke. It was just a theory. I see the logic in what you are saying. :blush:

But follow this...leebo wants to play a prank on folks over at CP, you know, mess with some newbs and others alike. Want's to see who will pile on so he can give'm hell later. So, he and others over at CSnob come up with this. The post gets made there and linked here. A bunch of folks pile on, not liking how things have gone down in the past when Lee has called others out. Then, it is revealed to be a quite elaborate prank. The piler's on catch hell and all is right in the world again. The fact that it is a prank is supported by all of the folks that posted on CSnob (all respected in the on-line cigar world) and any damage done to his name is quickly cleared. :whistling:

Like I said, if it is not a joke, then it is not a joke. I just posted a thought that quickly crossed my mind.

All this talk, but the only 2 posts w/ substance were the 1st one by MMM and the one by Ric stating what was owed. I would personally like to know what else is owed, to whom, and for what. I'd hate to whip someone w/o knowing the whole story behind each "welch".

I agree. I just find it hard to believe a well respected (by most) member like Leebo would welch on soemthing owed to another member. I feel there is more to this than meets the eye...

Wonderful! I can see this little misunderstanding was blown completely out of proportion!
