Follow the (Slashdot) link, someone built it. You can buy the pieces to build your own and it looks like he's got pretty detailed instructions. Something "fun" to do if you got the time, if you ask me.

Yea, just a geeky DIY project to maximize OCD-level humidor checking. You could check your humidity from your phone while in Europe!
