Uriel Jones original Funk Brother has passed away

For the past four years I have been working with the Funk Brothers. These are the musicians who recorded the backing tracks for ALL of the Motown records hits in the 1960's and were featured in the documentary "Standing in the Shadows of Motown".
On Tuesday we lost Uriel Jones the last surviving drummer from the Motown sound.
May he rest in peace!
Uriel was like an uncle to me and he will be sadly missed.
