Okay I am starting to use the Click and Ship Postage thing on the USPS site a little more. My question is where do you get your sticky labels from that your use for this? Seems like there should be an Avery product that works?

Suggestions?

Not Avery, but these are recommended.

USPS Click-N-Ship® / USPS Shipping Assistant™ labels.

Convenient self-adhesive labels, ideal for the USPS Click-N-Ship® (International & domestic) and USPS Shipping Assistant™ applications. The sheet contains 2 separate areas for printing, each 8.5" X 5.5", and both areas have adhesive. These areas can be used for printing one shipping label and one receipt using USPS Click-N-Ship® or two shipping labels with no receipt using USPS Shipping Assistant™. (printing 2 labels is ONLY available for use with USPS Shipping Assistant™)

Labels work well on both Laser and Ink Jet printers. Use for Express Mail® Priority Mail® Global Express Mail™ and other shipping services.

Prices:
$ 6.25/25
$10.25/50
$18.00/100
$28.75/250
$52.00 /500

Available here: Self Adhesive Labels Link

I just print them on regular paper and tape them to the box......a hell of a lot cheaper than paying for labels

I'm with Fast......

You don't think the USPS would create a proprietary print program that millions of people will use on a repeating basis and design it with Avery labels, now do ya?

That's walkin away from millions in recurring revenue..........

BTW...look for a USPS NASCAR coming soon.......

I buy labels on eBay. The last time I bought 400 sheets - 2 labels per page for $3. 1 half of the page is the label for the box, the other prints the receipt. But for the price it doesn't matter.
I still tape over the label to make sure it doesn't smudged.

It's amazing what you learn about various shipping services at cigar pass!. I never knew that you could arrange to have UPS pick-up a package that you wanted delivered, I about fell over when I saw it here. In regards to the question posted, I agree that it looks as if they ship you the stuff you need, after of course, you set up an account with them here. I will definitely be using UPS more often now that I know this. It's nice to know that there is a shipping service that doesn't have the exact same working hours as myself, the only difference being that they have a full hour lunch than myself.

Regardless of which method you use for you labels, remember that unless your using a printer with colorfast ink you still need to tape over the label. I sure would hate to send out a package and not have it show up because the label got wet and they couldn't read the address.
