I've sent out some packages with three day priority mail over a week ago and nothing has arrived. Has anyone experienced the same thing? I know that the P.O. has layed off a lot of people and i read today that it has lost two billion dollars. Maybe it's time to use the brown truck. Damn! :(

Same here I sent a M.O. on the 1st and still shows as being in Nashua NH. Something strange is going on as it went to Nashua were it should go. It then went to Scarborough ME were it should not have gone. It now sits back in Nashua in limbo.

I would have to say that service and performance has gone way down hill. I sent a newbie package to a fellow member before I went on vacation March 17th, and as of today, he has yet to receive said package. When I got back from vacation I expected there to be three packages delivered the following Monday, as I had our mail stopped. Monday came and went, and no packages. I go to the post office, deal with a rude employee (go figure), was given a number to call my carrier, called the carrier and dealt with another rude employee who said I had to call before 8:30 AM, and then got to speak with my carrier the next day, and boom, there were my three packages that he pulled out of the door from empty house down the road. Oops he tells me.

A week later my wife orders something from Amazon, we finally get the shipping confirmation and tracking number, it shows delivered as of Monday of last week, since I'm laid off, I am at home all day, and guess what, no package. So I call my carrier up again, and as if it were some magic trick, there is our package in his hand, and he even brought it to my door for me.

Over all I would have to say the service is down, especially since the package that I sent to another member had DC, and he has yet to receive it.

Edit to add: When I got back from vacation I had a stack of mail over an inch thick of other people's mail. Not just mail for people, but mail for businesses that are no where near my home.

I honestly don't think they have grown accustom to their new hours yet. I noticed strange lags in shipping immediately after that change.

Nashua is a place of limbo, kind of makes sense.

They reduced service hours, I think in mid-March to help make up for a $2bil loss. So now they all close at 5pm around here, so they are no longer open until 7 or 11pm. I'm not not sure if "behind the scenes" hours were cut as well.

LOL Nashua is where all of the priority mail from my town goes. Why the hell it left Nashua and went to Scarborough ME and then back to Nashua is what has me confused. I have sent many priority mail packages and never once had one go to Scarborough ME.

Didn't know that. Something has to be going on. I have three delayed USPS packages, and a UPS ground that is on 10 days now.

I'm wondering if the bad weather across the country for the past few days has messed with air shipments (not that it would effect the UPS).
