Too cool...Music I grew up listening to. Thanks for the link...It's now bookmarked.

Thanks Captain...Cream from 1968 is on now... man could Clapton play back then.

I saw some of the reunited Cream concert (from the bbc) and I was dissapointed. Maybe they were just not used to playing together, but for sure, Clapton has slipped alot from back in his prime.

I was a big Cream fan at the time and spent most of my youth listening to heavy metal. I'm almost 50 now and prefer contemporary country. Hell, look at what Rod Stewart is doing now.

FWIW, I have an appointment on Thursday to pick up my $3500 EACH FRIGGING HEARING AIDS.

I saw a clip of the reunion "White Room" and I thought Clapton sounded very lack-luster but a good friend of mine (music aficianado) saw them recently at MSG and thought Clapton was the best of all three (even though he didn't use any effects at all).

Sorry to hear about your hearing woes,NullSmurf. See what Rod the Mod"s crooning did to ya?

It's changed a little, and requires free registration, but is still very, very cool! :)

edited to say: listening to the Byrds do "Positively 4th Street" from Filmore West in 1970. Maybe I'll listen to a lil SRV next...
