Looks like the damn SMOKING BAN ruined it for everyone!

As of DEC 8th the Cigar Lounge will be closing (unless they win a class action lawsuit which would give them a permenant or short term solution) and they will be re-opening it as a sports bar.

This is such tragic news. I had yet to visit this establishment but the pictures of the cigar lounge looked awesome.

I called today to make my reservations for dinner and to set a time a time to smoke some cigars in their lounge. When I spoke with the hostess sheinformed me of the terrible news.


Vegas here I come 2 weeks and counting!

Lame. I've been to their location in Denver and had a fantastic time in the smoking lounge. I cannot believe this. Vegas of all places? :angry:

That one might have fallen to OUR smoking ban - since you were here last. Churchill's, Robusto Room, and Smoker's Delight, and the B&Ms survived, but any establishment that derives a rediculously low percentage of revenue from food did not. I doubt if Delfisco's Denver made the cut. See my tagline quote :(

Nope. Casa doesn't sell food. The ban only applies to restaraunts.

...and there are lots of food vendors in the Forum Shops. Wonder if sitting on the mall with a mojito and a smoke are going to be a thing of the past..... :angry: :angry: :angry:

Damn right I'll write the Vegas tourism folks....if nothing else, it'll make me feel better.

Another horrid thought - no more smoking cigars while hunting giraffe's at the M.C. Brew Pub...?? They do serve food in there.... :angry:

I imagine that you will not be able to smoke in front of the Casa. Its a public area on the concourse.
 
Oh man... I loved that place too. A lot of the industry bigwigs go there during RTDA... unfortunate.

Pretty much every resturaunt in town is in the process of filing a lawsuit. There are no food vendors inn the forum shops..but there are a few resturants in the forum shops. They are all located a good bit away but the forum shops should be okay. Everyone here is scrambling to figure out what to do. The Law was supposed to go into effect on November 28th...and then it was the first of december....I have no freaking clue of what was going on.

On a side not..been to Delfriscos several times...Smoked a cigar with the Mayor there one night.
 
Right now we are in Arizona. I was shocked to find how liberal this
state is as far as smoking is concerned. Every bar and/or club we have
been into allows smoking. ???

Hey Alex, where have you been stranger and why am I not surprised you are going back to Vegas. In case you didn't know, there are thousands of vacation spots in the US :laugh:

When I head to Vegas in 2 weeks. I will be asking the ppl of Casa Fuente how this will affect them. I will also stop into the MC Brewery to check with them about the smoking ban and its effect on them.

This is going to make it hard to find a suitable place to herf in Vegas come next year for the CP Herf.
 
And Vegas claims to have balls. What a joke.
 
kiss my ass....the southern half of the state voted against the bill..the northern half where no one lives...but everyones votes voted it in.
