I'm not a Vick fan (over-rated as a player), but part of me thinks he's getting extra crispy because he's who he is. I believe there are alot of worse things done that get much less punishment, not saying he doesn't deserve punishment, i guess i'm saying i wish people would get as outraged over crimes against children, etc., it's dog fighting for Pete's sake. He must not be too bright to put the millions his career represents at risk for dog fighting...

Is this getting too 'political' ???

I don’t think he’s getting crisp because he is who he is. He’s getting fried because the guy went to people’s yards and stole there pets and used them for practice or tied them up for baiting. I don’t care who you are that shit aint right.

Is this part of the case or just rumor? I haven't read about or seen that particular deal (stealing dogs), but if that's the case than this guy certainly deserves more than he'll walk away with. Another thought on this is that if it wasn't someone so famous they would have just gone ahead and threw the clown in jail already for longer and much worse than Vick will ever see. The fact that he is an NFL player with millions is why he'll get off easy with this plea deal.

I don't think you read the article correctly. It was an article about dog fighting in general, and they only mentioned Vick in it. They didn't say one way or another that those were the practices Vick used for his "business". Either way, I think he is a complete low life, and deserves everything he gets and more!

Ya'll have pretty much summed it up -- but I will add this: The dogs win in the price tag it'll cost Vick. Millions of dollars - seriously, millions and millions of dollars. Vick, in essence, paid millions of dollars for the "rush" or whatever it was that fulfilled him from fighting dogs. I cannot fathom how fighting dogs could be so much fun that I'd pay even $1,000 to get involved much less what Vick is paying. Yeah, I'd like to see some hard time out of the deal, but even if he walks, I can sleep well a night knowing that it cost him more money than I will likely see in a lifetime. The "fine" will be paid perpetually. Ha.
