Ok, ok so I’m single and 21, I have no idea on what a good wedding present would be ??? . It’s going to be for two good friends of mine who are getting hitched. I was hoping to get them something cool and thought full not a fuggin toaster or anything lame they register for. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

PS I'm already taking care of the groom with some cigars at the bachelor party.

Folks who are getting maried probably signed up somewhere or other that specialize in wedding gifts. Find out where that is and buy something off of their list. This practice cuts down on duplicate gifts.

First thing that popped into my head was an antique silver picture frame, no bigger than about 10" by 12". eBay would be a good source.

If the couple is moving into new digs, things such as a smoke or carbon monoxide detector are thoughtful, perhaps even a fire extinguisher for the kitchen.

I hate to say the same, and it might feel a little "lame," but people tend to want what they register for. ESPECIALLY if they are young and just starting to build a household together. If for any reason nothing there speaks to you, vintage porn always shows you care.

I don't know what your budget is but for newly married folks I've always given a good set of kitchen knives. Most single people have crap and a good set will last for decades and they'll always remember who gave it to them.

Hmmm what do you guys think of 2 Crystal wine glasses with his family crest engraved on one side and hers engraved on the other on the other and a nice bottle on wine?

Pretty good idea... you should see about maybe finding a bottle from the year they first met... add a little something extra to it.

Liquor is always nice, helps during those tough times........... :sign:

I don't know if many have heard this before, but long ago I read somewhere or was told that giving knives is supposed to be bad luck. Anyone else ever heard that?

...and pouring a bit of olive oil in a bowl of hot water will tell you if your marriage is cursed with the Evil Eye by a Strega. (Italian Witch)

only if it's extra virgin, unfiltered, first cold-pressed.

The registery is a good way to go to avoid duplicates and get their input on what they want. I vote for this one.
