How was your weekend? Did you do anything interesting? Enjoy a cigar that stood out? Meet anybody interesting?

I did absolutely nothing, being a lazy pseudo-college-dropout. :)

Today, however, I did spend $60 on two dress shirts from Marshalls.

I did enjoy my 1st 8-5-8 while BBQ'ing I have to say I really enjoyed it! to bad they are $18 bucks each up here. I might have to take a drive to the USA soon lol.

Saw Lupe Fiasco in concert. Really good time... A lot of smoking, but not cigars this time around.

I did nothing. Not even a Cigar  My wisdom teeth came in fine years ago... Welll I broke one of them in half last week and had the tooth extracted. Doc says to wait 2 weeks before i smoke a cigar. Been since tuesday so I have another week to go. the good thing is well.... It was an extra tooth right?

Excellent weekend. Went to cigarfest '09 and smoked some great cigars. I didn't really meet anyone interesting though, well, unless you consider Don "Pepin" Garcia, Nick Perdomo, Tim Ozgener, Rocky Patel, Nestor Plansencia, Alan Rubin, and many other cigar makers interesting.....

Seriously though, great weekend.

Opening day of lake season '09. Dropped the jet-skis in the water, and later made a Low-Country Boil. Drank some beer and margaritas, then had an Opus Super Belli to finish off the night! An excellent Saturday in my opinion!

Pics of the girls in bikinis laying on the dock to follow shortly! ;)

Awful weekend. Dog (has epilepsy) went to emergency clinic after 4 seizures on Weds. Got him back on Fri night. Dog was in good mood, but declined fast. Rushed back to emergency clinic on Sunday with bloat, colon was totally filled with gas (the x-rays were ... um ... impressive) and hugely distended, spleen was enlarged, red blood cell count was down.

He doesn't tolerate dog food containing beef, which is in his file ... and, for the 2 days he was at the clinic, they fed him a mix of dry dog food containing beef and wet dog food containing beef. That plus the very low level of activity (he usually gets about 1-1/2 hrs of off-leash walking and chasing squirrels/birds/deer; at the clinic, he probably got about 15 minutes a day of slow-mo on-leash walking) seems to have come very close to doing him in.

Fortunately, we got a vet surgeon whom we know and trust on Sunday. She's opening up her own practise in South Philly. We're switching as soon as she opens her doors. We don't think that she'll be right 100% of the time, but we're pretty sure that she'll tell us and make it right when she isn't, which is more than we can say about the local emergency clinic...

I did a little fishing this weekend.

This was a little interesting to see along the bank of the river.

The bear print is awesome. I did nothing for the first time in a few months, no hectic driving or working. It was great. Saturday went up to Memphis bought some beer and cigars (with someone else's money) and was a dad all day Sunday. It was a fantastic week-end.

Got some progress in the shop but mostly cleand my disaster. I swear, I make a piece of wood 3 inches long and I make 3 pounds of sawdust.

I think we should make this a weekly thread.

My wife and I went house hunting in Southern Maryland and are looking into new home construction. I tried the Oliva serie V figurado this weekend as well and throughly enjoyed it.

Had a good weekend. Spent Saturday with my buddies for the big boxing fight. Pre-fight I had a Padron 4000 paired with a Schlenkerla Rauchbier Marzen. Both cigar and beer hit the spot! Enjoyed hanging out with some of my closest buddies. Then we grubbed on some homemade Filipino food that was just incredible. My buddy is a great cook and he made some pork roast that was so tender that it just fell apart! Swine flu be damned! Then we enjoyed the fight (all 2 rounds of it) and spent the rest of the night knocking back beers, picking at the leftovers, and watching tv.

Sunday was spent recovering from Saturday. Later that day my brother and his wife brought their 8-month old son over so I got to spend some quality time with the family.

Looking forward to next weekend, hopefully more booze and cigars with the guys and then mothers day brunch with the family on Sunday!

Went to one of the Indian gaming casinos. Really didn't want to, but the wifey said " If you smoke your money, I am going to play the one arm bandit. All in all though I did have a great time ( cuz you can smoke there ) and watching her have a blast.

Drove 2400 miles in 4 days with my roommate, slayed the tail of the dragon, visited cigar shops in several states and had an awesome time. Smoked some top notch cigars and found some good stuff at the shops too.

All in all, pretty sweet, but I'm looking forward to doing next to nothing next weekend.

Lost my basketball tournament in double ot, sprained my ankle, but met a very awesome girl!

Went roller skating! First time in years! My baby girl had a blast, as we all did.
