I'm officially on two weeks notice at the Tinder Box. :(

I just finished up a student clnincal at the lab here at a local hospital, and they offered me a phlebotomist job. Won't be near as fun, but it'll pay significantly more so I gotta take it with a baby on the way. I have now passed the Tinder Box Torch to KayakinBoy. Stay strong John, we shall overcome...

First off, go to hell :p (there are actually three other guy phlebotomists at this hospital), secondly, I'd love to keep the Tinder Box job part-time but I was only part-time anyway. I'm still in school ya know. So unless the hours in a day increase to about 55, I just won't have time. I still may fill in occassionaly though.

That's what you get for having me play in mustard, you BASTID!!! BTW - I did some internet research, and I find only four guys names listed as phlebotomists - you and the three others :laugh:

...and I work 60 hours a week - momma and my eldest daughter calculated it out - I can still work another 40 hours a week, and still have 12 hours to myself... So what's your excuse!!! (Besides, it's for cigars!!!)
 
I think Gaylord Focker is a Phlebotomist,isn't he? :D

Good luck in your new job, too bad you gotta give up the sticks, and does this mean that "Yak" wont have as much time to post? :whistling: He was seriously catching up to the Cat!

Congrats Eric! Happy to hear you'll be making more money with the baby and all.

It's funny though, how much you miss working retail at a cigar shop once you start your career.

Don't worry, I'm sure KB will make it through (even if he can't post as often, lol). :laugh:

hopefully you're better than the butcher that got me on my physical last month. The bruise is just now going away!

You are right. My wife is a phleb and there are a couple of gay guys she works with. ;) :p :laugh:
