thought it would be fun to see were everyones smokes. I have a lovely terrace with a cealing that is wonderful in the summer. In the fall and winter however it is cold and miserable. My wife who loves me to death forbids smokeing in the house so we came up with a compromise. We will put windows in the terrace woodburning stove a separateing wall and insulated floor this will be my smokeing room. Problem is it wont be finished till spring it is gonna cost a bundle so i wont be able to afford good cigars butI will be able to sit in my own smoking room sometime in early spring and smoke swisher sweets cause thats the only thing i will be able to afford. contracters estimates are around 10,000 Euro looking forward being able to smoke in comfort. All of this made me think it may be fun to see how the rest of you deal with this. Time to run outside and takea couple of puffs before my gar burns out.

P.S i know i cant spell but dont hate me for it.

Historically, I have smoked on the back porch, back deck, side screened-porch, or the front porch. At least once a week, we smoke at the Downtown Grille. However, I am putting the finishing touches on my smoking room this weekend. 220 sq feet of smoking nirvana. It should be great. I will post pictures when I am able.

For me its either the back deck or if its raining or snowing then the garage with the door open. I know, I know....how can I stand the luxury.

Front porch, back yard, work patio, or car depending on the day and weather. I have a den in my house that I use for work and relaxing, unfortunately my wife will not allow smokes in the house. So it looks like it is going to be an extremely cold winter for me, unless I can figure out a way to convert my den into a smoking room.

When I first got into smoking, me and my roommate would smoke a cigar each night on the back porch and shot the sh*t.

As time went on he grew out of it and I didn't. I now don't have a back porch, but I've smoked on the steps in front of my apartment before, but mainly in the car and always when grilling at my main places of smoking.

On my front porch, in my truck and on the smoking deck at work.
These are my usual haunts.

We have a covered deck where I smoke. It gets a little chilly in the winter, but even still, the fresh air is nice.

Cheers - B.B.S.

Nice days - front porch
Nice nights - garage, door up
Cold or otherwise inclement nights or days - garage, door down

:D

Geldor, that is a nice smoking room you have there, Let me know when I'm invited over for a smoke. :p
I smoke in my garage or on the front porch.

I have been blessed to have married a very understanding and tolerant woman. I have smoked my cigars in the house since the very start of our married life. In fact, I have even had HERFs inside our house with as many as 10 cigar smokers (for those occasions - we set BOTH of the Csonka Air Ionizer/Cleaners going full blast.)

And yes, I do realize how very fortunate I my wife and daughters understand and accept this passion of mine for my cigars. Obviously, on appropriate days when the weather permits, I enjoy smoking my cigars outside on the deck - but this time of the year in the Northeast - it's inside for the next few months.

Personally I'd prefer to smoke indoors versus outdoors. Indoors the smoke lingers longer and you can take in every nuance of taste and sense of smell from the puro that your currently enjoying.

In the summer (some spring and fall) months I'll smoke outdoors if its not too breezy. There's nothign worse than hanging on the porch and wanting to savor the taste of my smoke only to have the wind blow away as it immediately leaves my mouth/nose.

I can be found smoking in one of the cigar shops near my house in the colder months (which seems like 9 months out of the year here in Buffalo!).

In the car mostly except on weekends. If it is nice outside on the back porch or deck, if it isn't then inside the detached garage. In the house only on my birthday.

For me it's the car or around the block with the dog at the end of her leash. She goes nuts when I open the coolerdor. Tail wags like crazy, she's dancing and I have to tell her to calm down. I still have to clip it!!

My smoking room so far:

Its getting cold really quickly and I'm trying to think of easy ways to heat it. So far I've had to just wear a heavier coat. :D
