What cigar purchasing type are you?

Pretty much where I fall in. Though if I buy too much at a time I get funny looks.
 
I'll say 4.5. She doesn't know how much I spend, they just show up. I tell her when I get a really good deal, but that's about it. If I keep buying her flavored smokes, she will probably never care. I may have a problem explaining when the new humidor arrives though...
 
Well, I got into this while I was/am deployed. And she pays all the bills. I tell her before I make a purchase online, she gonna see the statement anyway. If it over $75 or so, I tell her to pay the bill out of my "deployment fund" it is the money I get set aside for me to have fun with when I get back home. Most of the time she just pays it from petty cash. She has never told me no, but she did ask that I put off a purchase until the next pay check.

Not sure how that will change when I get home......

I would be closest to #6... I would love to have a girlfriend, but I am afraid that would cut into my cigar budget...
 
I figure I am sitting at about 1.5 ... She doesn't know the whole amount because I normally use my "slush fund." Which is a where all my travel money gets dumped when on my "deployments." So, if I don't go out and spend every night in a four or five star restaurant, I have money left over. If I only eat ramen noodles for two weeks, I can buy 2x boxes of Padron 1926. ;-)

Problem is that I like to eat good food... So, I save enough to fund my addiction...well...kinda.

C&G ...do I really believe she doesn't know...down to the penny? ???

PS....Ginseng! I made 100!!! (Without post padding!) :whistling:
 
She knows every dime I spend on cigars and scotch. She buys both of them for me , and encourages me to buy more. However, she does so in the "you should buy a box becuase it's cheaper per cigar than buying singles and 5er's" way.

She also doesn't see a reason to buy more cigars when I have humidors filled right now.

No. 3, I buy most of them in cash so there's no record except for the receipt which I toss before I get home. She buys plenty of stuff that would justify my spending, but it isn't worth the fight. I really don't spend that much anyway, although this month I've spent far more than I ever intended to.

Number 5A: She has a vague idea, but doesn't care because the way she sees it, I earned it, so I can spend it as I choose. I pay for everything, including trips to Vegas every couple of weeks and a couple of grand to the kids every month. We live quite comfortably. And she enjoys the smell of a good cigar, so it's win, win, win here. :D
