When my wife and I found out we were having a baby, we preemptively bought an espresso machine. This thing has saved my sanity some days. Even with some espresso to fire up every day, I still crank up my moka pot some days to supplement. Most days the first initial hit, works. The VOLUME of coffee we've been going through, fuuuck! I was lucky to find this on Amazon, and it's really good to for the price. 2.2 pounds whole bean for 18 bucks when it's on sale (often)

Honestly, not bad for instant. Since I drink my coffee the way the gods intended (read: black), I feel like I get a better mouthfeel for what it actually is. So, with who knows exactly what temperature the water really is and a nicely unwashed in months Yeti, I can say it’s a pretty good cup. Good enough that I drink two or three cups a day!
