My fiance, soon to be wife in 2 weeks, doesn't mind it too much. She'll say something to me when I'm packaging up a few boxes, but other then that it's not a big deal. I've learned to make her happy first , then I can do my thing.

Yeah, I know that the cigars could be considered crappy just by being flavored, but these warrant the extra adjective. For some reason, our manager at the store ordered some of every flavor. John's girlfriend wants the grape one. It actually smells like grape kool-aid.

My wife doesn't smoke at all... but she supports my hobby 100%. She usually goes to the cigar shop and askes the manager for something I'd like - he knows me pretty well. For my birthday this year she took an empty cigar box - rolled up $100 bills and put blank labels on them will little sayings. She told me to buy whatever I want. So yea, she supports the hobby

I sorta get the same thing. My wife doesn't mind me smoking, she gets hot when I do the buying.

And, I remind her that I am cool with all of the HGTV $hit that goes on in our house. I don't complain about those costs. But, she tries to remind me that those things are for the whole family and cigars are only for me. She does have a point and I'm getting better at skirting that one.

As long as I'm fairly conservative on the monthly purchases, she's pretty cool with it. But, I know I'm in for it when the Davidoff MBs show up.

LOL-Well gawn, I'd try to point out that cigars make you calmer which means: (1)You are more pleasant to be aroudn in general; (2)It relieves any pain in the #$@ that you might get from the kids; (3)It's your personal form of yoga. My wife is also very unselfish. She makes Gandhi look like a selfish bastid.

I used to be married...what was that a year or more ago??? Yeah, that's right (bad memories). Used to catch grief all the time, though she spent money like a man dying of thirst drinks water. And she got me started smoking...crazy, mean-spirited, ........

I'm out of that now. I moved in with my girlfriend in November. She smokes with me (I started her on good stuff) and we have wonderful porches, decks, etc. to smoke on. She is very supportive of me...she just figures it make me happy and is all for it. She thinks CP is great for my mental state. She is very glad that I found it.

Of course a friend of mine turned me onto CP and I spend a lot of time with cigar-smoking friends. They certainly think it is great. All in all, cigars are a big part of my life and the people around me understand and support that. I have wonderful people in my life right now.

Fact is, I'm at a point in my life that if people aren't willing to accept me for who I am and support me in my decisions, I don't have them in my life. It is a great place to be. I don't say that out of anger or malice, just out of preservation of ones own happiness.
