What petite coronas to buy ?

So far the only petite coronas I've tried have been the Monte #4, the Punch Royal Selection #12, the RyJ petite corona, and the Cohiba Siglo 2. I've enjoyed all of these very much but the price of the Cohiba would keep me from buying a box, I'm probably looking to get 2 or 3 boxes and spend $125-$140 per box, these are some of the choices.

( I already have 50 partagas shorts and about 15 MC #4)

AS you call tell it's quite a choice, most of these are within a few dollars of each other. My favorite size is the PC and Robusto.

The other cigars I own are, Bolivar RC, Partagas Serie P #2, Serie D #4. MC Edmundo, RASS, RyJ Exibition #4, HDM Petite Robusto and Epi #2, SLR Regios and others I can't think of.

I know this probably doesn't help much but I'm very confused, if anyone has tried any of these and can make a reccomendation it would be appreciated, also if I've missed anything that might be good. Thanks!!
 
Upmann PC is VERY good, but it needs a couple years age.
Same holds true for the PLPC, but these are VERY hard to find. They sell out FAST!
The El Principe is an OUTSTANDING smoke,is right in the price range your looking for and only needs 8 months of age to be a killer smoke!
Partagas Short is an amazing little firecraker of a smoke,loads of flavor like the El Principe but needs a little age.
You've tried the Monte 4 and that is the one that I've been hitting alot lately until my El Principe's are ready to smoke.So you know how good they are.

One I've been smoking alot of lately is the Tatuje Petite Tatuje. Killer little stick for a non ISOM! Another kick butt non ISOM is the La Escepcion Coronitas - Series V. Both of these shouldn't be overlooked. VERY Tasty,inexpensive and the perfect size for a quick flavorful smoke when you have limited time.
 
Just for the record, Partagas Shorts are TPCs.

I'd go:
-Bolivar
-RyJ Cedros #3
-Either the San Cristobal, or Sancho Panza Nonplus
 
The Partagas Shorts are actually minutos like the ever yummy Bolivar Coronas Junior and Ramon Allones Small Club Coronas. :D

My favorites are:
Boli PC - great Boli earthy, tobacco flavor, nice tang
Punch RS12 - wonderful aromatic profile, woody and fragrant
SCdLH - only with age, 05 codes have been quite harsh when young

Worth trying in the hopes of getting a box that is "on"
Monte 4
SLR PC

As for the PLPC, there is some mystique about them but myself and others have smoked recent vintages and not been knocked out. Meaning 04 and 05. 06 seems to be a bit different. If I came across a cab, I'd put one down but I wouldn't kill myself to find these.

Thanks for all the replies, I may have to get a 50 cab of Boli PC just because I like cabs, also I've been interested in the Diplomaticos No.4, as some people seem to like those a lot. The Por Larranga (sp) seem to get a lot of good press,I may have to stretch the budget, then again, there's a site sponsor with a sale on El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme, Cab of 50, for $280. That's close to the price of a PC. Also have you guys ever seen sales on the MC#4, what's the lowest price you've seen ?
 
I wouldntm recomend the mote no.4. They are very inconsistant due to the large numbers produced. If you are lucky you might get a good box, depending on the factory. Wouldn't take the risk since there are many good PCs around.
 
No love for the San Cristobal El Principe !
Tasty little smoke IMHO, can get a great price on these as well.
