There’s a local restaurant that is offering 1 oz pours of this. I’d love to try it but found out it’s $250/oz. maybe in another life

Its pretty good. I don't love it by itself but it is good by itself. I like the Dark Rye better.

Well trying would probably mean I would need to buy more bottles, but the price for these have just gone up way too much here in Dallas... But I have kept the corks from the bottles I have bought over the past few years...

Unless you really love 80 proof bourbon, skip the BH, and get Old Grandad Bonded or 114. It's the exact same juice as BH at a higher proof. BH is aged about 6 years, OGD is 4 years. I think the higher proof matters more than the extra 2 years of age. Oh... and OGD is half the price.
