I’m shocked that a $25 bottle of liquor taste so good. I have never really drank rum, so I don’t really have anything to base it on, but I am enjoying this a lot!!! I will definitely be expanding my liquor collection with some rum now.

Friday night was an Irish whiskey kinda night. Started with some Redbreast 12
Ended with some Knappogue Castle 12 (unfortunately the cork broke off in the bottle)

The Rendezvous Rye is amazing - thanks to all who suggested it. Great call. Still thinking I like the Templeton's 10 yr a bit better, but it's a close one!
The Affinity is "interesting", but not as smooth as I'd anticipated for a Compass Box Scotch Whisky. I also did not pick up the apple flavors the reviewers raved about. Might have been an off night - will try it again later!
