What wine did you drink today?

I've never thought of trying to make my own wine. I have made my own beer a dew times. Does Gluhwein count as wine. It is the holiday season in a Germanic country so it is time for Gluhwein and Christmas markets. Just no markets this year.

Hell yeah it counts....love me some Gluhwein, brings me back to my years in Bamberg.
 
Got introduced to mulled wine (they call it glogg in the Danish wine country along the CA central coast) last winter while walking around a rainy and cold wine area alone while my GF was at the casino playing slots. I saw a sign in the window of one of the many tasting rooms advertising glogg, so I saddled up to the bar and tried some. I was hooked. Loved it so much that I grabbed my GF from the casino and went back to the tasting room and made her order a glass.

I actually bought a couple cheap bottles of red the other day to make a batch this holiday season.

Thanks man, I actually put a lot of effort into them. Most of what I grab and modify is artwork from My Chemical Romance songs/albums. I just really like the theme of their stuff. I try and find ways to apply it.
 
I bought a case of Epicuro Primativo Di Manduria from Denner tonight. It taste OK.
 
Had some Gluhwein we made from Steimheimer Wein. Then a Spanish wine. We tend to buy it by the case but it last about a week or less. Depending on how much I want to drink.
 
I haven't developed much of a taste for whites yet. I try them every so often, but it's been extremely rare when they've "clicked" for me. The one exception has been Migration Chardonnay. I tad spendy, but I usually try to keep a bottle on hand because I know it's going to be good.

I drink very few glasses of white wine per year....literally about 4. I bought this one (two bottles actually) for my wife for Christmas as it has a storied past. Search Chateau Montelena Chardonnay and you'll see a lot about it. It's the first wine to win the blind taste competition in France (1976). It shocked the world and brought American
