What's the meaning of your CP name?

Mine is somewhat obvious and almost as original as Jonesy.

Actually, both "Not A Nice Person" and "Boar" come from the same source, about ten years ago. I was a moderator on a heathenry forum, using the handle "Boar's Heart." People kept reading it as a first and last name, and calling me Boar and since there was a fair amount of IRL crossover, it just sort of stuck. Even family members call me that now.

The "Not A Nice Person" was sort of a mod alter ego on the same forum; heathenry's historically based and largely reconstructionist, so pretty often I'd have to post something along the lines of "well, Not A Nice Person™ regrets to inform you that what the sources we have actually indicate is . . . " or "I realize I'm probably Not A Nice Person™ but did you dig that flaming MUS out of your own ass or just take some other pinhead's word for it that Vikings . . . ?"

Old timers there would laugh and tell noobs "That Boar, he's Not A Nice Person" when they arrived, and I started using it everywhere I didn't use Boar's Heart.

From the first time i saw the Blue Man Group in Boston in 1997 I was hooked. It struck me as one of the greatest audio/visual performance arts out there. Since seeing it then I have seen the show more times than I can count and have seen it in Boston, NYC, and Las Vegas. In Vegas I got to see the opening show and attend the VIP party at the Venetian where I met the 3 original founders. I have also auditioned a few times; one of those auditions carried me through to the final set of cuts in NYC (one cut away from being cast). It is still a goal of mine to be part of the group someday, and it is something that has influenced me in everything that I do both theatrically and musically. Because of this, any email address or forum name I use has had some form of the word "blue" in it. 13 is just my fav number.

I'm not gay or a nerd, so I just used my real name.

Nothing real interesting here .... Due to my crazy polish last name, the family nick name has always been Moe ........ and little comes from NOT being little .........

Jonesy = North Carolinian for Bromance.

Mjolnir, the hammer wielded by Thor, the Scandanavian god of thunder, plus 01 for 2001, which was my class year at the small technical college I attended in Colorado.

I've used it as an online handle since 1997, but probably wouldn't choose it again. It's more habit at this point.

I had an Olde English Bulldog named Dozer. He had a rather large head. According to some of my friends I sport a rather large nogin, too. Some would tease that my head was 'as big as Dozer's'...it kind of took off from there. Kinda lame, I know, but who has the time to be creative?

...heathenry?...reconstructionist?...WTF are you talking about?

Man, I gotta get out more....

Man, I gotta get out more....

I follow the ethnocultural folkways of my Northern European ancestors, including their ancient festivals and gods . . . and have for years. Since it doesn't have anything to do with cigars, I never talk about it here. I run a forum of my own for that, and am practically a founding member of another one, anyway, not to mention being part of a statewide community of believers.

"Heathen" is what the early missionaries called us, so we stick with that. There was never really a name for it all anyway . . . just die Sitte, the "way we do things here." Reconstructionism is an academic approach to interpreting historical materials that has a considerable following among those of us who do more than just READ about the old ways. ;)

Well, mine is quite easy as well.

All you have to do is ask any single woman between the ages of 25 and 55 within a 100 mile radius of my house...they'll tell you :whistling:
If that's the case, shouldn't it be Viagrapeddler instead?
Good one baldy...you shoulda been that creative when you picked your own CP name?

...and it's Cialispeddler...I need that 36 hour window to foster my legendary reputation!!

I am the Great Seanholio! You will give me all your crappaccino!

If you don't get the reference, google Cornholio. I took the name on MANY years ago, and I've stuck with it. There were many others who used the name in the 90's, so there are a few impostors.
So you need teepee for your bunghole then?

As for my name....I are one.
I've only seen or talked to the old fugger once in the last 20 years.
(speaking of phucktwats) :p

What a great thread. Thanks!

I work for the largest Landscape Company in Las Vegas, Par 3 Landscape and Maintenance. I use cigars as business gifts as well as personal enjoyment. Seemed a fitting name when I joined here. I have never joined an online forum prior to this one and I had no nickname waiting in the wings.
