Damn Maggs, Babe Ruth! I've got 4 of them First Base, Babe Ruth, Stealing Home and Kid's Stuff. Another fairly unknown band to go with Lemon's Captain Beyond.
One regret I have is I never got to see Babe Ruth in concert. I had tickets to see them in the 73 I think. The concert was Mott The Hoople, Queen and Babe Ruth, but someone from Queen broke his hand and the concert was cancelled. I did see Mott, but the opening act was Kansas.

Hallowed Be Thy Name - Iron Maiden
Grinder - Judas Priest
Highway Song - Blackfoot
Green Grass and High Tides - The Outlaws
Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Whole Lotta Rosie - AC/DC
The Zoo - Scorpions
Take Five - Dave Brubeck
I Wanna Be Sedated - Ramones
Midnight Rambler - Rolling Stones
Baba O'Reilly - The Who
Closer to the Heart - Rush
Train in Vain - The Clash
Refugee - Tom Petty
Life's Been Good - Joe Walsh
Cowboy Song - Thin Lizzy
Lights Out in London - UFO
Slow Ride - Foghat
Stranglehold - Ted Nugent
Kick Start My Heart - Motley Crue
Cocaine - Eric Clapton
Cold Shot - SRV
Have A Cigar - Pink Floyd

Lots of great music above! Thought I'd chime in with a couple of titles that I really like.

Mercy Street - Peter Gabriel
Tales from the Vienna Woods Waltz - Johann Strauss
Walking on the Moon - Police
Exodus - Bob Marley
Are you Gonna Go My Way? - Lenny Kravitz
Karma Police - Radiohead
Lady Madonna - The Beatles
In the Mood - Glenn Miller

I bit eclectic, I know. But then I have to listen to it, not you! ;)

Oh, and I love everything by Iron Maiden up through Seventh Son of a Seventh Son!

Gotta love Lenny Kravitz. I got his all-time greatest hits, never get tired of listening to it at all. Also need to pick up his new album soon. :D

YEAH GREGOR!!

You've given a list that's closest to my kinda music. I forgot The Ramones, MAN I love those guys

My favorites by them are:
Rockaway Beach
Bonzo Goes To Bitburg

I also forgot about the Outlaws, Ted Nugent & Foghat. I also like Molly Hatchet, Queen and remember The Tubes?

So here's a few more:
Flirtin' With Disaster - Molly Hatchet
Talk To Ya Later - The Tubes
Devil Went Down to Georgia - Charlie Daniels Band
Fat Bottom Girls - Queen
Bohemian Rhaposdy - Queen
Great White Buffalo - Ted Nugent
Stone Blue - Foghat
Talk Dirty To Me - Poison
Fallen Angel - Poison
We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister
Come Sail Away - Styx
You Sexy Thing - Hot Chocolate

And I have NO IDEA how I missed this one the first time:

Hot Rod Lincoln - Commander Cody

"My pappy said son......."

I forgot to list "Come Sail Away", it was on my list as well. Toss up between that and Suite Madame Blue for Styx. Not a huge Tubes fan though. Love the Hatchet too, though I would probably go with Gator Country. Looks like I'm going to be burning some cd's.

Anybody remember a band called Uriah Heep? They had a song called Steeling. It had a really strong bass line that made my feet restless. Not necessarily my favorite song. It just brings back a lot of wild memories. :D
One of the bars I went to during my wild 20's had some great Uriah Heep on the juke box. Stealin was the name of the song... "stealin, when I should have been buying.."

Brings back lots of fun times, but lots of hangovers too... :)

DUMB ALL OVER by FRANK ZAPPA. If you have the chance listen for the guitar solo at the very end.
When I think of Zappa, the lyrics that first come to mind are, " Watch out where the huskies go.. and don't you eat that yellow snow."

the imigrant song - led zepplin
I was about 15 when I first heard The Imigrant Song, and it sounded soooo dark, almost scary to me. I heard Whole Lotta Love and all the rock of those days (Doors, Rolling Stones etc), but The Imigrant Song took things to a different level, definitel a great song.

Tin Pan Alley - SRV
Radar love - Golden Ear Ring

If ya don't use it, JOE.M. will remind you about it but he won't be so nice (he's a meanny :p )

Oh and Gregor, I'm going with you on the best Hatchet song Gator Country

I mean really! If you want to post pad to get up your numbers.... Well that is just childish :(

OK, I guess seeing that your last 2 choices were Zepplin and Floyd I will turn the other cheek and let it slide... Just think before you post next time.
