Where to smoke in Richmond, VA

Looks like I will be attending another shooting school in Richmond, VA.

Will have evenings free, and will need a place to smoke.....

any ideas?

Is it a weekend or week night. Richmond isnt to bad of a drive, maybe I can bring Cigarman Andy along and let me pay for the gas. :laugh:

Havana Connection

Either one of these should do. The one in Short Pump Mall was my fave out of the ones I've been to.

Tobacco Company

I have not been there in about six years, but when I did go it was a very nice atmosphere. Obviously from the name, you can tell it's tobacco friendly. They even have the old throwback girls with the oversize strap trays walking around selling cigars, and cigarettes.


Wish I still lived only an hour away Tim, I'd join you.
 
I will get in sometime Sunday the 26th, and will be there for the whole week. I will get a better schedule later this week.

X2 for Havana Connections, they have two in the Richmond area, Short Pump Mall (West Broad St.) also one on Three Chop Rd. Since the one at Short Pump is closest to me and has the best selection, that's where I usualy go. There's alot to do around that area to; mall, movies, restaurants, etc. Hope you enjoy your stay here in VA!
 
Looks like the Tobacco Company is the closest to my Hotel.
And the 3 Chop Road Havana Connection is the closest of the 2, but I will be in a rental, and the Army will pay for the gas, so really anywhere within 30 min or so is cool with me.
I will be with a fellow team member, and not sure if he is down to hang out or not.

Well, just an update.

Andy just left and I have to say that he is one damn fine Brother.
Thanks so much for everything, I had a great time, and somehow, someway it is a must that we get together again.

Well guys,

I was going to try and get out and about yesterday (SAT) but I received the sad news from my Mom and Dad that my grandfather had passed.
I spent the whole day trying to make arrangments last minute to extend my travel in the States for a few days, and arrange the flights. Nothing worked out.... The time difference to Brussels put me way behind the power curve.

I had made my peace with my grandfather the last time I was home, and I know that he, being former Military, did and does understand.
My parents, and brothers and sisters understand why I will not be able to attend the service as well.

There will be those in my family that will have something to say...I will take care of that on a case by case, next time I am home.

Long story short, I will be on my way to the Havana Connection at Short Pump, in a about 45 min, so I can be there when it opens. I will not be there long, I have to get the rental back and check in for my flight.

Andy....Thanks again for the great food, smokes, and most important the fellowship and brother hood. My door is always open.
