It's my birthday this week. Cards and panties have been rolling in from dignitaries and starlets, respectively, all week. And now gifts and blessings are starting to show. Here are the latest:

Bumper came first, then when I got home, the big box was waiting for me. Funny thing is, I've been so tired from the new baby that I couldn't even get mad. Just filed the police report, called his insurance, picked up a couple of BK Angus burgers and came home for lunch.

The only thing that worried me was that I had Miranda in the car with me as I picked her up from Montessori. She was pretty rattled and cried a bit but a packet of Cheerios later and she was kicking pinecones with me in the parking lot while the officers filled out the paperwork. God bless Britax childseats.

The guy who hit me as a professor at UD, my school. Sigh.

Yep, that's my 2002 WRX. The old battlewagon took another scar today. Unfortunately, this one is bad enough to require a repair.

that sucks brother :(

my car got nailed in a parking lot yesterday (huge dent in the door). it's the second time in 5 months. i just want one shot at these @-holes. i love the honesty in people. and I lost my hubcap last week. my vw went from perfect condition to trash in no time. AAAHHHH!!!! :angry:





now go hold that little one of yours and cheer up. i choose beer. ;)

Wilkey I'm sorry for the bad news about the ride. Glad to hear that everyone is all right. But I have some terrible news for you those two bottles are bogus and they should be sent to me for verification.

On a good note I'll be sailing for Mexico on Thursday and have been told of several places where the elusive glass top Cohiba boxes are available. The least I can do is pick you up a box of your favorite Esplendidos to get over the double dose of bad news.

Oh by the way since I won't be back to say Happy Birthday, let me do it in this thread. All the best to you my friend, please smoke a fine cigar on that day.
 
Wilkey, Happy fricken Birthday. It's been my pleasure to have made your acquaintance this past year and a half or so. With all that goes on in your life, it amazes me that you have the time to educate and enlightnen us all. Have a great day and a good smoke.
