Which Padron?

I have read some mixed opinions on other sites between the padron 1926 and the padron 1964. which one do you guys prefer? or is one really better than the other

1926 #35 Maddie is my favorite.

I do prefer the '26's over the '64's, however, I love the PAM 64 Exclusivo.

"Better" would be pretty subjective. "Different" would be how I'd describe it.

Most of the time, I prefer the profile of the 64's but I have a bunch of 26's here as well. Just depends on your personal tastes, mood, etc.

I like them both. They really are different cigars, so it would behoove you to try one or two sizes from each line.

The 40th Anniversary Maduro is my favorite of the 1926 line and the Exclusivo Maduro is my favorite of the Anniversario line. I wouldn't turn down any of the vitolas in either line, however.

I have never been disapointed by any 64 or 26 in any size. They are truly a great and very consistant cigar. I prefer smaller smokes, and also have to look for the best value, so I go with the PAM Prinicpe.

I like the 1926s more than the 1964s. I never buy the 1964s BUT would never turn one down. :laugh:

As far as which specific 1926, I grab whatever size I feel like having at the time since I try and keep a box of each size (except the 35s which I don't like) on hand. I find I've been smoking the #2s quite a bit lately.

I love the maduro Diplomaticos. But second only to the 1926 Maduro #9. That has to be my favorite of any of the Padron lines. It even beat the Padrón 1926 Serie 40th Anniversary Maduro in my taste test. But as you can see I greatly prefer the Maduros. The naturals are just missing a little something, IMHO.

Both are top notch and I would never call one better than the other. I stock both and look forward to both profiles at different times. I prefer maduro in both lines.

I love them both. It just depends on my mood if I want a 64 Maduro Torpedo/Exclusivo, or a 26 Maduro of any size.

You can't go wrong with any Pam IMO.

Both lines, IMO, are fantastic cigars. I prefer the maduros over the naturals. The Principe is my favorite 1964 and the No. 9 is tops for me in the 1926 line.
