Who says there are no honest cigar ads?

Initially post it in the different forum... but to the topic... Here:

I think some of the "newborn" cigar "manufacturers" are lying all the time.
Especially those who started as salesmans using other real manufactures who really grow tabaco and who really manufacture cigars for those, so called "manufacturers". Sure thing when they become more wealthy they started to make their own cigars on their own factories... but they keep on lying and they cannot stop.
Examples?.... Ohhh... easy...
Abovementioned Rocky Patel with his 1990 and 1992 brands... And that is not the only one his lie. Wanna another? Please... Did you notice that Edge Maduro and Edge Corojo slowly disappear from market(not to say that first release was different from next ones)... but what do we see instead? Yeah you are right Rocky Patel Cuban Blend... in the same 2 wrappers Maduro and Corojo and in the same 2 sizes toro and torpedo and Edge missiles was substituted by petite belicoso.... Important point here is that price for Cuban blend is $89-99 instead of $50-60(for Edge).... That is perfect example how this guy is fooling everybody.
Another example... Alan Rubin(owner of Alec Bradley) Look at his serie Trilogy in Corojo, Maduro and Cameroon wrappers(triangular shape). He advertised these as a wrapper from 199 something. Apparently run out of those wrappers and stopped making them and start making non-triangular shape.... but seeing that people liked old triangular shaped cigars started to make these again saying that no blend and wrappers were changed... What a bullshit... I can put next to each other old triangular cigar and new one even visually different wrapper... I'm not even talking that current releases taste like shit...
I'm not gonna even wanna start with Gurkha(K.Hansotia) and CAO(Ozgener) who are just ordering their cigars from well known real manufacturers(a lot coming from Torano factory) and making money on that margin fooling us again.
You gonna say... "I do not care... I like the sticks, so I will buy them"... right... that is your call.... But you might wanna start thinking why cigar prices went up in last 2 years in almost 30-80%.
I better stop here... but you can find "manufacturers" who is lying yourself... just look closely.

Rocky Patel said he started off as a lawyer, so that would imply he's good at selling stories.
