I've been playing drums for over 40 years. My favorite drummer is Neal Pert from Rush. This video is Neal playing a tribute to another of my favorite drummers, Buddy Rich. I want to know who your favorite drummer or musician is. Post your favorite musician's video.

Check it out

Steve Gadd. He can do it all

Other favorites are Dave Weckl and Vinnie Colaiuta

Doc.

Gene Krupa is my favorite drummer.

This is an interesting thread. I think it will be fun to check some of these other favorites out.

The Smiths and Morrissey.

Not exactly the best drums but my favorite artist by far.
Lyrics are fantastic. He really speaks to me.

Lars Ulrich from Metallica...

I can't pull up the video here at work but "One" is my fave song and vid from them...

I admit, that even though I am still "stuck" in the 80's and early 90's heavy metal genre, Neal Peart is tough to beat! I got a chuckle though seeing Chuck Biscuits get a vote - certainly not a household name but he had some good years with Danzig.

Chuck was the goods, and one has to consider that he used to sit down to a modest set of drums. He looked like he was playing on some Sears' junior kit.

Fred LeBlanc of Cowboy Mouth.

He is the most high energy drummer I have seen and doesn't sit in the back of the band as many do.

Stewart Copeland of The Police. He is one of my favorites. His work on the Oysterhead album is pretty darn good....
