Wolfie

Why can't they make bacon flavoured peeps, anyway? Who's in charge of marketing over there in marshmallow land?

THAT is a great product list... I am a huge bacon fan.

One of my favorite things to make is Bacon-weave and egg sandwiches.

MMM... Baconweave!

That is some intense food art right there!

That looks great Anthony. I'm going to have to try it. Any tricks in keeping the bacon together while cooking?

It's pretty easy. Weave the bacon on a broiler pan (if you use a baking sheet it will sit in the grease), and bake it at 300 degrees until it's done to your liking.

If you're really creative, you can turn a muffin tin upside down, and weave the bacon onto the cups to make little bacon bowls.

You're killin' me here. This ramen doesn't taste anything like bacon, no matter how much I pretend.

Are the extra two slices chef's incentive?

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try it this weekend.

Made another baconweave dinner tonight: Baconweave salmon over a bed of shredded brusselsprouts with carmelized onions and bacon.

There's a bacon weave every day in your world, isn't there? If you were a pale girl with dark or red hair, I'd marry you. Blond would be okay, though, as it's a good platform for colours.

that looks pretty tasty, 'cept maybe for the 'brussel sprout' part :D

Anthony, you're my new hero...just ordered a jar of the Baconnaise!

Oh man, baconnaise! Now that sounds tasty!!

Anyone for another delicious bacon-inspired meal??? Made this for dinner tonight, served with potato+parsnip puree.

Brown sugar glazed, bacon wrapped tenderloin of venison

Give this a try:
Mix 1 cup brown sugar with soy sauce til well moistened, slather the mix on your venison and marinate an hour or so.

Wrap with bacon, and place on a broiler pan into a preheated 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes. (depending on the size/cut and desired doneness)
