Worst Smelling Cigars

I have not had the displeasure of smoking or smelling one these cigars but I can imagine that the Lars Tetons are gawd awful!

I was enjoying a AF Double Chateau Sungrown last week at a bar and an angry patron approached me and said, "Has anyone ever told you those things stink?". I said no they hadn't and he added a very sharp, "Well, they do." I thanked him for his input and bade him good evening. I think the cigar smelled and tasted wonderful but I'm guessing that guy would disagree.
 
....anyone mentioned Acid's yet...??... :sign:

That s#!t is just flat nasty; smells like the Avon lady fell down the stairs and burst into flames on impact at the bottom...... :laugh:

Umm, yeah. I would have said a few choice words to the fugger. Let me guess, he was smoking a cigarette?

I was entertaining a customer at the time and had to mind my manners. In all honesty, I get quite a kick out of people that petty. He let something so small get to him and ruin his drinks, that's just funny to me. The guy was sitting two tables behind me and I could see my smoke rise straight up most of the time so he couldn't have gotten too big of a whiff.
 
At the lounge's Ashton Taste of Excellence last night, it was gross.

The freebies were Ashton Cabinets, Ashton Maduros, and the house line rolled by fuente.

The smoke was similar to how bad it was during the La Unica event. It's never been a problem with the other tastings. Partagas, Patel, CAO nights never came close to the level of stink and eye burn.

We did win a LARGE Ashton ashtray, box ofAshton Senoritas, and a Savoy double cutter though!

They were the regular La Unica cabinet line, natural and maduro, the natural was like smoking a camel, and the maduro was like a maduro camel... they weren't bad, just not what I expect a cigar to taste like, and the smell was definetly like cigarettes. It didn't help that it was a La Unica event in a lounge, outside I'm sure they much more mellow.

the La Unica was the first $4 stick (bought from the shop) that I really enjoyed (those and messinos sp? I thought were identical) (comparing to some of the 6-8 dollars ones I was getting) of course I don't recall the smell, I have a maduro and a reg (I don't know if it's cam. or not?) that have been resting, I'll get to them in a few months, but right now I know what smells great to me (certain RP's, and golds) so well see if those La Unicas' still suit me?
