The other day I was at Cigar king with the woman and they had these hand bags made out of cigar boxes. Vey cool looking and the workmanship on these were awesome. My girl commented wow that is a cool looking purse!! I figured the prices on them were comparable to higher end name brand purses i had bought her in the past..soo...

I found a site that makes these exclusively. Have any of you ever worked with this company directly? I am digging the OPUS X one..LOL!

these are all the big rave here in dallas. we were in a cigar shop the other day and i asked my wife if she would like one of those and she said, " that's the most rediculous thing ive ever seen".

i have to disclose that my wife hates cigars and anything associated with them, so her vote may skew your little poll.

I was actually at a wedding last summer and saw someone carrying a Cohiba purse....not quite appropriate for a wedding, but still cool. My fiance actually loved it and wants to make a few for herself!

My Girlfriend has seen them and made the comment that she really wants one. But she completly supports my hobby and I guess anything associated with it.

Seen em on eBay for $10. Looked just as nice yet hardly the rip-off price as your link :0

They are pretty cool though

There is a lady that comes into the shop I frequent. The owner saves all his empty boxes and sells them to her for five to six dollars each. It pays for his shipping costs and keeps him in Coffee money for the shop.

My wife did the puse thing with a couple of boxes back in the mid '90s. I just wished she didn't use the ones she did :( now I miss them and wish I had them back in the "Box Whore" collection. :D

My daughters both have one but I've invested toooooo much in Coach for the wife to get one now, She has a different one everytime I look around.

There is actually a website, though I don't remember it, that sells everything you need to turn a cigar box into a purse. And you do see a lot of cigar box purses on ebay.

I have women come into my store all the time begging for our empty cigar boxes. We used to just give them away until we found out that they were making purses out of them and selling them, thereby profiting off of our generosity. Now we sell the empty boxes and donate the money to charity.
