Ouch. That game hurt. I missed most of it, actually (I guess I didn't miss much). Fell asleep sometime shortly after that BS "punt interference" call in the first quarter (even YOU can't agree with that one...). Shitty officiating, aside, ND apparently didn't know what to do with the ball even when they DID have it. Congrats to Alabama. They executed a hell of a game. Does Nick Saban get a new statue out front of the stadium for every crystal football in the trophy case?

There's still something to be said for a 12-0 regular season, especially with the schedule Notre Dame had. The Irish were expected to be lucky if they ended up bowl eligible, at all. So, I don't think there's much to hang head over. Brian Kelly has Notre Dame headed in the right direction, again, and the future looks bright in South Bend.
