I grew up just south of the Allegheny National Forest in Pa. and my son owns a camp there where we spend a lot of time hunting and enjoying the wilderness/solitude. John @jfields and Jon @cabaiguan juan can attest to how desolate it is. Our friend who hunts with us up there is a Pa State Trooper and just assisted in digging up a body which had been buried in the woods a couple miles from my son's camp. The body was buried in October and was ultimately found two weeks ago when Kevin tracked the killers movements with the tracking of the rental vehicle he used. Kevin just explained to me where it was and I was within yards of it this winter while hunting. I'm not sure yet if they had to wait until now for the ground to thaw or what, but there is no way any large equipment could get to it, it's a very steep hillside.

Over the years, there have been many comments about how "if you need to dispose of a body, this is the place to do it." But don't use a rental vehicle! :)

Here is a Google Earth shot of where the body was found and where my son's camp is. About 3 miles as the crow fly's.

That’s wild. I often go for walks at lunch in some nearby parks. Now not as desolate as this location, but still there are some places that seem untraveled. Unfortunately, after listening to too many true crime podcasts, I actually find myself “looking” for obvious signs of disturbance around some of these places. Especially if there has been some news reported, that would heighten one’s awareness.

Thankfully at most I’ve only seen dead animals 😂. I wouldn’t want to discover anything else. But it does make ya wonder.

It's a professional goal of mine to someday start a will for a client along the same lines as Hatchet Jack's, "being of sound mind and broke legs". Ending it with "Hope it be a white man" would be the cherry on top!
